The first 24 hours
Keep the wrap on as directed, then wash gently with unscented soap and pat dry. No swimming, no sun.
Everything people ask before their first session, and the bits that matter after it. If yours isn't here, message the studio — it gets answered the same way, straight.
No such thing as a stupid question about a permanent thing.
Starting rates run $100 BBD for tiny work up to $1,500 BBD for large pieces. The final cost depends on complexity, detail and session time — custom work is quoted after a $50 consultation. Full breakdown on the services page.
Fill in the booking form and it goes straight to the studio. From there your artist confirms the design, the date, the final price and the deposit. Nothing is locked in — and nothing is charged — until you've agreed all four.
Yes — every appointment is secured with a deposit, and it comes off the price of the tattoo. It isn't an extra fee; it's the first part of the payment, taken early so the time set aside for you actually gets used.
Absolutely. Bring references to your consultation and a custom concept gets built around them. Photos, other tattoos, artwork, a scribble on your phone — anything that shows the feel.
When the chair is free. Appointments always come first, so booking is the sure way in — and both locations sit inside partner venues, so a message ahead saves you crossing the island for nothing.
Often. Send a clear photo and you'll get an honest answer on whether it can be absorbed into new work, whether it needs fading first, or whether a cover-up would end up worse than what's already there. There's a healed example in the portfolio.
18, with valid photo ID at the session. No exceptions, and no parental-consent route around it.
Eat a solid meal, hydrate, skip alcohol the night before, and wear clothing that gives easy access to the placement. Turning up fed and sober makes a long sitting far easier on you.
It varies by placement and by person. Tiny and fine-line pieces are quick; ribs, sternum, feet and behind the ear are sharper than outer arm or thigh. Long sessions get breaks whenever you need them — asking for one is normal, not a problem.
One guest is fine at most locations — both rooms sit inside working partner venues, so space is limited. Event setups like the Tattoo Zone are open by nature, so that's easier.
A tiny piece can be done in a single short sitting. Larger work is mapped across multiple sessions and quoted per sitting, so you always know what the next one costs before committing to it.
Healing is half the tattoo. You leave wrapped with written aftercare, and the follow-up is included — message the studio any time while it settles.
Keep the wrap on as directed, then wash gently with unscented soap and pat dry. No swimming, no sun.
A thin layer of aftercare ointment, loose clothing, and no picking or scratching as it peels. Sea and pool wait until it's fully healed — island rule, and the one people break most.
See the Fresh vs Healed series on @s.a.v_creator. Anything looking wrong while it heals? WhatsApp the studio — that's what the follow-up is for.
It's permanent. Take as long as you need to be sure — the studio would rather answer ten questions than fix one rushed decision.
